Next Steps on the #DLT4EU Open Call process
After three intense and amazing weeks, the first phase of the DLT4EU Open Call is now closed. During this period, we have received more than 90 interesting applications from 20 countries, the majority within the European Union.
We want to thank all the venture teams for their nominations and the interest shown in our program. Thanks to your help, we will be able to contribute to the common good in Europe by using blockchain and other distributed technologies (DLT), and we are very excited about it!
Our project does not stop. The deliberation and selection phase has already begun, so we can soon announce the finalists. If you have applied to our project, don’t miss any detail of our calendar:
From 7th May to 11th May - Review of applications: Our partner Consortium and external selection committee members will review the initial applications and send rejection emails to out of scope venture teams.
From 11th May to 25th May - Full application form: We will send the full application to successful applicants who will be given two weeks to return a completed application. During this process, two Q&A webinars will be held in order to support applicants in completing their application. We will share more details about the webinars on the following communications with successful applicants.
From 26th May to 1st June - Review of the final applications: Our selection committee will review the final applications and select the top candidates to be share with the challenge owners. The moment of truth will be near!
From 1st to 5th June - Selection of the final top applications: Our astonishing challenge owners will review and select the top applications with whom they would like to meet.
From 8th to 12th June - The interviews: Challenge owners will have final interview calls with top applicants and make a final decision.
16th June - The decision: Winners will be publicly announced, so the project can finally start!
